In the fall of 2014, our Raven whelped a litter of nine puppies sired by our own boy Phoenix. One little female in particular stood out. She was spunky, full of attitude and had very nice conformation along with a lovely little gait. I felt this would be the puppy I would keep to add to our breeding program. Tia has definitely not disappointed me! She is growing into a beautiful adult and has made me very proud with her accomplishments in the show ring. By nine months of age she was a champion, accumulating 8 points (two Best Of Winners 4-point majors) in one weekend towards the required 10 points! Also, she has won 5 Best Puppy In Group (Working Group) and 2 Group placements (Group 3 and Group 4) along the way!

The most memorable moment for me, however, is Tia and I placing 2nd in the Amateur Owner/Handler Class at the 2015 American National Specialy in Monterey, California!!  What a girl!! Also, what has made some of these wins particularly special is that she was breeder/owner handled by me! And a very special "thank you" goes out to professional handler/groomer, and friend, Kim Cowie, for these wins also. Tia will now be taking some time off from the show ring as she matures and prepares for motherhood.
